choose almond milk or rice milk <\/li>\n \t<li>Increase fibre by eating fresh, raw fruits and dark green vegetables, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. <\/li>\n \t<li>Eat lots of salads &#8211; At least 4 glasses of water a day and more for larger or older children. <\/li>\n \t<li>Lots of fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juices diluted by 50% with water.<\/li>\n<li>Play hard &#8211; at least 30 minutes every day (walk, bike, swim, run, skateboard, etc.) <\/li>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b4b341f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b4b341f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt the same time each day &#8211; preferably in the morning, encourage your child to sit on the toilet with their feet raised on a step or box that raises the knees slightly above the seat. Don\u2019t allow feet to dangle. Raising the feet allows the colon to resume a more natural position. Children should sit for 15 minutes. If you they don\u2019t go within 15 minutes, they can get up and go on with their day.
