Rules for food combining

Food combining can be practiced to help reset your digestion. You can practice the rules below for as little as three weeks or 3 months and then reassess if your digestion has improved.
1. PROTEINS DO NOT COMBINE WITH STARCHES!
This is the worst of the disease-producing dietary habits. It takes a series of acid digestive juices to digest the protein and a series of alkaline digestive juices to digest the starch. When you eat a protein and a starch together, they neutralize themselves and minimal digestion is the result. Thus, food does not digest, it putrefies, creating more toxins for your liver to process.
2. FRUITS ARE EATEN BY THEMSELVES OR WITH OTHER FRUITS
Allow 30 minutes before and after eating fruit before you eat a starch or protein. When you eat a fruit with a protein it has a risk of fermenting and creating toxins for your liver to process.
3. IT IS OK TO COMBINE PROTEIN AND VEGETABLES OR STARCHES AND VEGETABLES.
4. DO NOT EAT MORE THAN ONE PROTEIN IN A MEAL.
For example, you would not eat both eggs and cheese in one meal.
